Decatur Work Day
The former Decatur First Church of the Nazarene (2036 Modaus Road SW, Decatur, AL) is re-starting and needs volunteers for cleaning, plumbing, painting, yard work, electrical work, and demolition. Let’s come together as a district and make a difference. Your help will be invaluable in revitalizing this church and creating a welcoming and vibrant place of worship and community outreach. 6-Week Heart of God
Series Begins
We will resume our regularly scheduled Wednesday Night Bible Studies starting August 7. Babies ages two and under will meet in the nursery, preschool-age children (3-5 years) will meet in the preschool room, children (Kindergarten-5th grade) will meet in the children’s Sunday school room, teens (6th-12th grade) will meet in the youth room, adults 35 years and younger will meet in the fellowship hall, and adults older than 35 will meet in the sanctuary. Family Sunday
Instead of Sunday School, we will have a Potluck Breakfast at 9:30 am. Please bring a breakfast dish to share! During the 10:45 am worship service, please join us for Family Sunday. There will be no children’s church. Nursery care (ages 2 and under) and preschool children’s church (ages 3-5) will still be provided. Trunk or Treat
Mark your calendars! Trunk or Treat is coming to Madison Church of the Nazarene. Set up will begin at 5:00 pm. A trunk and volunteer sign-up sheet will be available in the foyer in the upcoming months. We will also start to collect candy in October, which will be placed in a bucket in the foyer.
