Pastor Lewis Martin was born in Georgia but spent most of his formative years in Dallas, Texas. He attended Wesley College, where he met his wife, Tracey. Pastor Lewis earned a BS in Christian Ministry from Wesley College, a BA in History and Secondary Education from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and an MA in Social Science from the University of West Alabama. He was a youth pastor in Jackson, Mississippi, for six years and has been the lead pastor at Madison Church of the Nazarene for over 20 years. Pastor Lewis and Tracey have three children, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, and two grandsons: Reagen, her husband Connor, Annie, and Lou; Seth, his wife Bethany, Elsie, and Jack; and Aaron. Pastor Lewis is known as Papa by his grandkids.

Bethany Martin was born in Ohio but spent her childhood living in multiple states and countries with her dad serving in the United States Army. Bethany graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a BS in Social Work in 2021. She graduated in 2022 from the University of Tennessee with an MS in Social Work, concentrating in Organizational Leadership and completing a certification in Trauma Treatment. Bethany currently works as a Special Education teacher at Decatur High School. She is married to Seth Martin, an iron worker at Longarc Corporation. They have a daughter named Elsie, a baby boy named Jack, and two dogs: Jax and Dixie.
